2003: Postgraduate diploma (LL.M.) specializing in Civil Law (two-year program) from the Faculty of Law, University of Athens (grade: “excellent”)

2004: Magister Legum (LL.M.) from the Faculty of Law, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (grade: “excellent”).

2007: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from the Faculty of Law, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (grade: “excellent” – summa cum laude).

Doctoral thesis title:Die Rückforderung unbegründeter Zahlungen bei einer Bankgarantie “auf erstes Anfordern“ – primäre vertragliche Rückforderungsansprüche und Bereicherungsausgleich nach Herausbildung von Fallgruppen
(Recovery of unjustified payments in the context of a bank guarantee “on first demand” – primary contractual restitution claims and unjust enrichment claims through a typology of cases).
