Online Registration for First-Year Students

Registration for successful candidates in the national exams is completed online through the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs' electronic platform, without requiring in-person visits to University Departments. Registration dates are announced by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (www.minedu.gov.gr).

The registration application, unless amended by the Ministry of Education, is submitted at eregister.it.minedu.gov.gr, using the unique 8-digit candidate code and the same password used to access the electronic application of the admission system. Instructions are provided through the application portal.

Identity Verification

Students must visit the Secretariat Department (the date will be set by an announcement on the Department's website) with the following documents:

•              Police ID or passport

•              Photocopy of your police ID or passport

•              Printed registration application from the Ministry's online system

•              One (1) recent passport-sized photo

The identity verification process is mandatory to complete registration and obtain access credentials for the University’s services.

Upon registration, students in the Department must also register with the University of Athens' student services via the following website: webadm.uoa.gr/katsika/users/src/app_initial.php.

Through this site, students create their personal username and password, which they will use throughout their studies.

With their username and password, students can log into my-studies.uoa.gr to submit their course and textbook selections for each academic semester exclusively online.

Please note that any changes to personal information (e.g., ID card, last name, etc.) must also  be updated on the university website: webadm.uoa.gr (Data Change Request).

This process also automatically updates the data at the relevant database at the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning, and Religious Affairs for a) textbooks (EUDOXOS) and b) the student ID card (student pass).

The mobile app Uniway (http://uniway.gr), available for Android and Apple devices, is accessible to undergraduate students at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). It provides the following features:

•              Student Information System: Access to detailed academic records, course registration, program schedules, instructors contact information, office hours, etc.

•              Course Evaluation: Easy access to online course evaluation questionnaires.

•              Social Networking: Includes chat, file sharing, image and video sharing, friend groups, location information, and interest-based groups.

Access to the app is granted via the student’s institutional account credentials at NKUA.
