The School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens offers Intensive Postgraduate Study Programmes (LL.M. Programmes), introduced in the academic year 2018–2019. The School currently offers eleven Master’s Programmes in total, two of which are conducted in English.
These Programmes aim to deepen and advance legal knowledge and to promote research. In particular, the preparation of a master’s dissertation seeks to foster high-level scientific research and to cultivate scholars capable of contributing to the advancement of legal science and teaching. To obtain a Master’s Degree, students must successfully complete two semesters of compulsory attendance, comprising a cycle of systematic and specialised study combined with research work, as well as submit a master’s dissertation.
