PROFILE
Christina Livada completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1995) and her graduate studies at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) (DEA in International Private Law and Commercial Law, 1996). She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2004. In 2000 she was awarded a research scholarship from the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law.
She is teaching General Commercial Law, Banking Law, Capital Markets Law, Seminar of Commercial Law (undergraduate), Introduction to Accounting Law, Corporate Governance (graduate). She was a member of the law-making committee on “Reforming the Draft Law on Sociétés Anonymes” (2018, 2013-2014), she is responsible with Ass. Professor G. Lekkas for the content of jurispudence in Financial Law of the monthly Law Journal “Business and Corporate Law”.

Her main fields of specialization are consumer protection law, company law, corporate governance, banking law and capital markets law.
