LEGAL HISTORY COURSE VISIT AT THE PNYX: HISTORY AND THEORY OF LAW DEPARTMENT

This academic year, the Legal History course, featuring a guided tour of the Pnyx led by Professor Athina Dimopoulou, was once again successfully conducted. Students had the opportunity to explore the workings of the Assembly of the People and gain deeper insights into Athenian Democracy as a whole. The visit included readings of ancient texts such as Aristophanes' works, judicial speeches by Demosthenes' and Isaeus, orations from Thucydides' History, and the renowned speech of Kolokotronis to the youth at the Pnyx.
