NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE TEAM REPRESENTING THE EUROPEAN LAW SCHOOL NETWORK IN THE EUROPEAN LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION (ELMC), IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025

We are pleased to inform you that the European Law School is selecting a team to compete in the next European Law Moot Court (ELMC).

The European Law Moot Court is a bilingual annual international competition for students with an interest in European Union Law and is considered one of the most prestigious moot courts worldwide. It offers a unique opportunity to not only gain a deeper understanding of EU law but also improve your rhetorical and argumentative skills, as well as your fluency in English and French. Our participation started last year on the initiative of Prof Andrea Biondi and has been a great success, including winning Best European Commission Representative.

The competition itself is split in a written and an oral phase, with the CJEU hosting the Final each spring.  Further information on the conference and the schedule may be found on their website: europeanlawmootcourt.eu.

If you are interested, have good English and French language skills, as well as high motivation and willingness to work in a team, send your application with a letter of motivation and CV by September 3, 2024 to meuc.rewi@hu-berlin.de. We will also be happy to answer any questions at this e-mail address.

We are looking forward to your applications!

Best wishes,

The ELS moot coaching team.
